Shropshire House - House Prize Draw

Welcome to Shropshire House Prize Draw Competition

3 rd MARCH UPDATE

We have been swamped with emails, which are coming in faster than we can reply to them, so please bear with us

2 nd MARCH UPDATE

We are getting a number of emails bouncing back to us that are not getting through as some systems think it may be spam.

MARCH UPDATE

Unfortunately we have been able to reach any conclusion with the Gambling Commission that will allow us to continue with this competition.  Below is an email that we have sent to all who have entered the completion.

First of all we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continuous support and the very kind wishes many have sent to ourselves and our family.

Following much correspondence with the Gambling Commission, we have come to the conclusion that the competition to win our home cannot proceed, so no draw will be taking place... As with all things in life, nothing is ever as straight forward as you first 'think' or are told it is.

Many of you have suggested in your emails that if the draw is unable to proceed you would like your ticket money to be donated to charity.  We have given a lot of thought to this and think it is a fantastic idea and so have decided that we will make a donation to the local Shrewsbury Lions Club on behalf of all those who wish to donate their ticket money to charity.   As we have knowledge of this organisation and have seen many individuals locally being helped by the club, we feel this is the perfect opportunity to make some good come from this situation.

Please email us with your wishes, as to whether you want to donate your ticket money to charity, or would like a refund.

As this has dragged on so long we're sure that you, like us, would like it wrapped up ASAP, so we ask you to please advise us of your wishes for your ticket money, donation to charity or refund, clearly stated in an email.   After the end of March any unclaimed money will also be donated to the Shrewsbury Lions club.

Thank you once again for your support and kind wishes.   We wish you all the best and cannot apologise enough for any disappointment our competition may of bought you.

Kind regards
Nick and Liz Turner
